Scope of Services
The Service Provider agrees to provide technical advisory services as requested by the Client, which may include on-site inspection, consultation, and technical advice regarding Smart Home Automation to be installed, or already installed in a project.
Callout Charges
The standard callout cost is AED 550, which includes:
2.1 Travel to and from the Client’s site.
2.2 One (1) hour of specialist engineer time on-site.
2.3 Up to 15-minutes of consultation with Chief Engineer Richard Scott-Smith, (if required).
Additional Charges
3.1 Any time exceeding the included 1-hour engineer visit shall be billed at AED 263 per hour, charged in 30-minute increments.
3.2 The Client will be notified and must approve any additional time required before such work proceeds.
3.3 Any additional resources required are billed at the following rates:

Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Limitation of Liability
The Service Provider shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the advisory services provided. The maximum liability shall be limited to the total fees paid under this Agreement.
Hold Harmless
The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Service Provider, its employees, agents, and representatives, including Sr. Engineer Richard Scott-Smith, from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or losses, including legal fees, arising out of or related to the use or implementation of any advice, recommendations, or services provided under this Agreement, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
General Terms
Any dispute, difference, controversy or claim arising out of or in connection with services provided and charged under this agreement, including (but not limited to) any question regarding the existence, validity, interpretation, performance, discharge and applicable remedies of the underlying contract in dispute, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Dubai International Financial Centre (“the DIFC Courts”).
