Project Manager

Description:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of smart home projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential construction and/or renovation, project management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for technology and innovation.

Responsibilities:
Lead and manage smart home projects from initiation to completion, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
Collaborate with sales, design, engineering, installation, and customer support teams to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure adherence to project milestones and deadlines.
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to procure materials, equipment, and services necessary for project execution.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
Conduct regular project meetings, provide updates to stakeholders, and communicate project status, milestones, and risks effectively.
Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control measures are in place to optimize project profitability.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, safety regulations, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, mentor and support project team members, and promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or extensive experience in engineering, construction management, business administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in project management, preferably in the residential construction, home renovation, home automation, or smart home industry.
Strong understanding of smart home technologies, including home automation systems, security systems, lighting controls, HVAC systems, and audiovisual solutions.
PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate teams and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Solid organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges, identify solutions, and drive results.
