Description:
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Sales Representative to join our growing team. The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth by promoting and selling our smart home products and services to residential clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for technology and innovation.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets for smart home products and services.
Prospect, qualify, and generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and marketing initiatives.
Conduct consultations with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budgetary requirements, and recommend tailored smart home solutions.
Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our products and services.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients, and close sales to achieve revenue goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process and beyond.
Collaborate with internal teams, including design, engineering, installation, and project management, to ensure seamless execution and delivery of projects.
Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities, and provide feedback to management to inform strategic decisions.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions in CRM systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Proven track record of success in sales, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the residential construction materials industry, home automation, or smart home industry.
Strong understanding of smart home technologies, including home automation systems, security systems, lighting controls, HVAC systems, and audiovisual solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, overcome objections, and close sales effectively.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a drive to succeed and exceed sales targets.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in sales CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to smart home installations are preferred.
